RMAA 2012 Open Photography Exhibit [Important Dates]

Important dates for the Ringwood Manor Assoication of the Arts 2012 Open Photgraphy Exhibit at Ringwood Manor State Park, NJ (full exhibit info is available HERE) :

August 18 (Sat) : Art Receiving - Volunteers are always welcome  to help receive and hang the incoming works, if you can give a couple of hours to help out local artists on this day, just drop me a quick note HERE. 

August 19 (Sun) : Judging - Art will be judged the morning of August 19, with each category winner and best in show being chosen. The 2012 judges are : Ken Carroll of Lightroom Studios and Neil van Neilkerk of Photography by Neil van Niekerk.

August 22 (Wed) : Exhibit opening - Gallery hours during the exhibit are Weds. 1pm - 4pm, Sat. & Sun. 1pm - 4pm. To volunteer a few hours as a gallery sitter, drop me a line HERE. 

August 26 (Sun) : Reception 1:30pm - 3:30pm - An awards reception (with light refreshments) will be held on this day. In other words, winners will be handed their checks.

September 8 (Sat) : A mini-workshop/discussion of the works hung at the exhibit will be held 12pm - 2pm. The discussion will be hosted by myself (2012 Exhibit Director) and Donald Hults a 50+ year photographic professional and past show Director. The discussion is free and open to all. A couple of bucks in the donation box to help support local arts is always appreciated. 

September 12 (Wed) : Exhibit Closing - There are two pickup dates for your art work : Weds, Sept 12 3pm - 4pm and Sat, Sept 15 9am - 10:30am.
